• According to Fabrizio Romano, Antony has requested Ajax to allow the transfer of Man United.

Some of the best footballers in the world are still drawn to Manchester United despite their recent struggles, and Ajax’s Antony is said to have caught the Manchester United bug.

In order to bolster an attack that has recently lost players like Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Edinson Cavani, and Mason Greenwood, the Brazilian is allegedly one of United manager Erik ten Hag’s top transfer targets this summer.

However, it appeared that the attempt had been ignored since Ajax had set a staggering asking price of between €70 and €80 million for the player.

The 22-year-old is reportedly “fervently hoping” for his ideal job, though.

“Antony is keen to join Manchester United this summer even if it means

He is eager to reunite with Ten Hag and feels that he is prepared to compete in the Premier League.

“[United] have already discussed Antony with Ajax.”

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who asserts that this desire has prompted him to start pressuring the Dutch side to allow him to depart, has validated this tonight.

Manchester United are seriously considering a trade and have already made contacts, according to Romano. With ten Hag pushing, it’s not the only club.

The player’s team is reportedly pushing Ajax to consider offers for Antony this summer, even if the cost would be hefty.

That will be welcome news for United, especially given that despite six players leaving this summer, there have been no new arrivals.
