Bayern Munich wants to replace Robert Lewandowski with a Manchester United striker, according to Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked to a shocking transfer to Bayern Munich, which might make Manchester United’s summer window much worse.

The Portuguese does not want to finish his career without winning any championships and is reportedly dissatisfied with the club’s transfer policy and lack of ambition.

Bayern Munich is seeking to recruit the 37-year-old to replace Robert Lewandowski, according to the Spanish news outlet Diario AS.

This summer, FC Barcelona has been heavily rumored to acquire the Polish striker.

Earlier, Fabrizio Romano said that Bayern had received an official proposal of €35 million from the Spanish powerhouses.

Ronaldo may have had to make a difficult choice as a result o United’s poor season and their failure to advance to the Champions League.

A transfer to Bayern would make sense for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner because he has never participated in the UEFA Europa League.

Ronaldo is rumored to be interested in moving to Germany, where he would be guaranteed to compete for both the Champions League and the local league.

For United, who have not yet added a forward to their roster this summer, that would be a big setback.

The club has given the Frenkie de Jong transaction its full attention, with Ten Hag giving it top priority.

Many thought that Ten Hag would have to rely on Ronaldo for goals after failing to sign Darwin Nunez from Liverpool.
