Buhari: “It’s been difficult being president, and I’m eager to go out.”

President Muhammadu Buhari has acknowledged that running the nation’s affairs has been challenging and that he is eager to step go.

When he welcomed certain governors, lawmakers, and All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders at his Daura house in Katsina state on Monday, Buhari made this statement.

In Katsina, the president celebrated Eid el-Kabir.

However, the commander in chief emphasized that he will make every effort to finish the job before ceding control to the victor of the 2023 presidential election.

The president declared, “By this time next year, I’ll have gotten the most out of the two terms, and in the months left, I’ll do my best.”

“I send my best wishes to the person coming after me. I’m eager to leave. I can attest that it hasn’t been easy.

The fact that people recognize the personal sacrifices we have been making makes me thank God.

“We are fortunate people, and we need to think more about our origins,”
