Champions League: Ronaldo reacts to Man Utd’s 2-1 defeat to Young Boys

Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has urged his teammates to “recover well and focus on the next game”, following their 2-1 loss to Young Boys in the Champions League.

Jesse Lingard’s poor backpass gifted the Swiss club a stoppage-time winner on Tuesday night.

Ronaldo had opened the scoring on his Champions League return for the Red Devils, with his third goal in two games for United.

But after Aaron Wan-Bissaka was shown a straight red card, the hosts found some momentum.

They equalised shortly after the break and then scored an injury-time winner to secure a famous victory over Manchester United.

Ronaldo wrote on social media: “Wasn’t the result we wanted, but now it’s time to recover well and focus on the next game!”
