EPL: Harry Kane identifies two of the toughest defenders he has ever encountered
Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur has cited Giorgio Chiellini of Juventus and John Terry of Chelsea as the two toughest defenders he has thus far faced in his career.
This was said by the England captain on Thursday night during an Instagram Q&A.
In honor of ten years since he made his Premier League debut, Kane posted on social media yesterday evening to respond to fan inquiries.
Kane named Terry and Chiellini as the two toughest defenders he has faced.
There are a select few people who have tested me the most throughout my career.
In a video on his Instagram story, Kane stated, “Facing John Terry early on, [he was] just a really clever defender, understood where to put his body, knew how to stop my runs, so that was a wonderful learning curve.”
Then Chiellini, I clearly played against him against Italy and against Juventus,” Kane continued.
Again, very intelligent, physically fit, and strong.
