EPL: Pedro reveals Ronaldo’s next club, moving them closer to signing him
Pedro Sepulveda, a Portuguese football specialist, has revealed the potential new team for Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo is pressing for an Old Trafford exit this summer and has already told Manchester United that, should a good deal come through, he wants to quit the team.
In the final stages of his career, the Portugal captain wants to leave Man United and compete for the major prizes, including the Champions League.
Due to family obligations, the 37-year-old missed Man United’s preseason tour of Thailand and Australia.
In an effort to recruit his client this summer, his representative, Jorge Mendes, has been in contact with a number of elite clubs in Europe.
Pedro Sepulveda claims that the only two significant clubs that are “one step closer” to acquiring Ronaldo this summer are Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.
“I don’t think Ronaldo from Man Utd will play next season. Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are the two big clubs that are one step closer than the others, Sepulveda said on Thursday to Sky Sports.
Because Chelsea has a new owner, a new vision, and money to spend on transfers, I can see him playing for those two Ronteams.
