EPL: Raphael Varane of Manchester United makes two demands of Erik Ten Hag.
Raphael Varane, a Manchester United defender, has urged the club’s new manager, Erik ten Hag, to make sure the team works hard in training and is ready for next season.
Varane, 29, is excited to work under former Ajax coach Ten Hag next season as Man United embarks on a new chapter.
Last season, Manchester United finished sixth in the Premier League table.
“Because it’s a new season and a new beginning, everyone is eager to learn more about the new management.” Naturally, we want to perform well and win every game, so we’ll have to prepare for the new season, and I believe it’s critical for us to work hard and be prepared,” Varane told Man United’s official website.
“We need to work extremely hard,” he continued, “and there will be a lot of training sessions and games, so I think it will be an interesting and amazing time to work very hard and prepare for the season.”
Varane joined Manchester United for £36 million from Real Madrid last summer and had a rough first season at Old Trafford.
