EPL : Salah has changed since accepting a lucrative contract with Liverpool – souness

Mohamed Salah, according to Liverpool great Graeme Souness, has changed as a player.

Souness believes Lisando Martinez’s recent challenge on the Egyptian has left the Egyptian shaken.

On Saturday, the Reds were restricted to a 0-0 draw at Everton as Salah once more failed to find the back of the net.

In six games this season, the Reds’ number 11 has two goals to his credit.

According to Souness on Sky Sports, “I’m looking at Salah for Liverpool versus Man United and [Lisandro] Martinez goes right through him in the first five minutes.”

“Throughout the rest of the game, Mo Salah searched for Martinez and tried to find his location. Since then, Mo Salah has not appeared the same. I just hope that he gets the lucrative contract he desired. However, at this level, if you lose even a fraction of a percentage point, you are no longer the same player.

Souness continued, “I hope this isn’t him getting semi-comfortable in his chair since he just received a big contract. I’m saying that because I support Liverpool, and I hope it enrages him and he can show me wrong.
