The weekend before last, a long-simmering beef between Kylian Mbappe and Neymar resulted in a penalty controversy between the two Paris Saint-Germain strikers.

And according to Goal, their hostile dynamic could split the locker room this upcoming season.

Mbappe turned down Real Madrid to extend his contract with PSG, but he is dissatisfied that the influence he was promised has not materialized.

The international player from France is also displeased with Neymar’s ascendance among teammates, including Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos.

Especially as they strive to finally win the Champions League, that has brought PSG to the verge of catastrophe in Christophe Galtier’s debut season as manager of the Ligue 1 team.
Earlier this summer, Neymar appeared to be leaving Parc des Princes, but he changed his mind and decided to stay with the French team.
