PSG: Rooney criticizes Mbappe for pressing Messi since “he won four Ballon d’Ors at your age”

Wayne Rooney, a former Manchester United player, has criticized PSG sensation Kylian Mbappe for his treatment of senior players at the French champions.

After being named the highest-paid player in the world by the French capital club, Mbappe has recently engaged in arguments with Lionel Messi and Neymar, raising concerns about his temperament.

The Frenchman and Neymar got into an argument about who would take a penalty after he had previously missed one during PSG’s game against Montpellier last Saturday.

Following the incident involving the penalty, the 23-year-old was also seen pushing Lionel Messi when the legendary Argentine failed to pass the ball to him.

And Rooney, who is currently in charge of Major League Soccer’s DC United, has criticized the striker.

According to Marca, he said that “a 23-year-old player commits to challenging Messi” to Depar Sports.

“I’ve never seen someone with a larger ego.

Someone needs to tell Mbappe that Messi already had four Ballon d’Or victories by the time he was 23 years old, he added.
