The scholarships offered by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Foundation| Fully-Funded (Apply Now).

Germany-based undergraduate and graduate programs are eligible for this award. A monthly basic income of up to 850 euros, health insurance fees, and, if required, family and child allowances will all be covered by this scholarship.

Up to 40 deserving students may receive the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarships, which come with a comprehensive seminar program to assist applicants advance their social and intellectual abilities. Anyone interested in studying in Germany who displays high academic talent or distinction and is dedicated to social democratic ideals is entitled to apply. .

Brief Description of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarships

Scholarship Location: Germany

Course/Level of Study: Undergraduate, Masters, PhD, Diploma. A lot of courses are supported, but not pure study abroad programs outside the EU

Number of Scholarships: Up to 40

Eligible Individual/Countries: Gifted students from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe

Worth of Scholarship: The following advantages are offered to recipients of Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) Scholarships:

• In a Bachelor’s, Diploma, Magister, or state examination program, a monthly stipend of EUR 750 is provided.
• 850 euros per month in a master’s program stipend.
• Health insurance premiums are covered, and students who have children are given a family stipend of EUR 276.
• There is no need to pay back the scholarship.

Application Deadline:

• Masters:  April 30, Annually for the summer semester / October 31, annually for the winter semester
• Bachelor / Diploma / Magister students as well as students aiming for a state examination: After the 1st semester and later. up to 3 semesters before the end of the standard period of study
• Medical students: After the 4th semester or after the physics until the end of the 6th semester
• PhD students: At any time

Eligibility Criteria for Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarships

To be eligible for Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• The English Language is the required language
• The candidates’ abilities and personalities offer tremendous potential for a career in academia or business.
• Enrollment or admission to a German state-funded or state-recognized higher education institution
• German language proficiency, even if the courses are taught in English. This entails passing at least level 2 of the “Deutsche Sprachprüfung für dem Hochschulzugang,” level 4 of the “Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache,” or a “Zertifikat C 1” issued by a Goethe Institute.
• Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to social democratic principles.
• Above-average academic and study performance

• If you are approved for a scholarship, we will request you to send two expert reports from university professors via email together with details about your prior education and political engagement. First-year students (as opposed to master’s students) turn in two reports from previous professors throughout their first semester.You have three weeks to upload the papers after we request them.
