Transfer: Boehly confident of signing EPL star for Chelsea before deadline day

Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly, is confident of completing the signing of English Premier League star, Wesley Fofana, before the deadline day of the summer transfer window.

This claim was made by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Fofana, who currently plays for Leicester City, has already agreed on personal terms with Chelsea.

But Romano has now claimed that Fofana is a priority at Chelsea before the window ends.

“He knows Todd Boehly and Thomas Tuchel are doing their best to sign him as soon as possible, but at the moment, the negotiation is yet to be completed,” Romano said via his YouTube channel.

“Chelsea will try with another bid in the next few days, Chelsea are preparing this bid, they want to push again because Fofana is their real priority after missing out on many centre-backs during the market. They’ve a feeling they can do it.”
