Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Hadiza Bala Usman on Monday December 14 told the Senate that the agency lost more than N1billion when some unidentified people vandalised its facilities during the #EndSARS protests in October.

Speaking during the 2021 budget defence session of her agency before the Senate Committee on Marine Transport, Usman said N807m had been earmarked for rehabilitation of the burnt portion of the agency’s building.

She said the burnt portion was different from the amount that would be spent to replace the 27 vehicles set ablaze by the vandals while three others were stolen.

According to her,

“Apart from burnt building and vehicles, other working tools like 317 computers were looted as well as photocopiers.

The cost of replacing all the burnt and vandalised items will be above a billion naira when added to the N807million already estimated for rehabilitation of the burnt section of the building.”

  2. Chelsea’s academy is known for grooming a lot of young talents. Over they years, this academy has really produced good talents at different role. In defence, they produced John Terry, Reece James and patrick Van Aan holt. In midfield, they produced Mason Mount and Billy Gilmour. In attack, Hudson-Odoi, Tammy Abraham and Armado Broja.

However, another young CB with a great leadership quality has been spotted and his name Is Marc Guehi. Guehi is an Ivorian born English defender.

Guehi is still 20 years of age and is currently on loan in Swansea. His improvement this seaon was very rapid, he is likened to Chelsea’s Thiago Silva in terms of leadership quality and defence cordination. Sources have it that Chelsea could call him back from loan anytime soon and he would be joining Chelsea’s first team. Some Chelsea fans now know him as the blues’ next Thiago Silva because of the way he controls Swansea’s defence.

Guehi has made an official appearance for Chelsea but that was in FA cup last season. Calling Guehi back means that Antonio Rudiger might find his way out of Chelsea anytime soon.

On getting to the Shopping Malls in the early hour of this morning, the Securities at the Gate denied them entry into the premises and pleaded with them to leave that they are not aware of anything call Inksmart from Inksnations.

Having resisted the plea from the Securities, the Management of the mall invited the Nigeria Police officers who came to disperse the crowd.
