Nigerian brand influencer and fashion expert, Laura Ikeji has made a case for domestic workers.

The best-selling author shared a video on her Instagram page.

In the video, she explains why it’s important for domestic workers to have at least a day off to themselves for their own upkeep.

Ikeji explained that they are also human beings with needs and employers shouldn’t expect them to work seven days a week with no breaks.

The mother of two added that if they can be given more than a day off, then it’s good. However, she insisted that all domestic workers deserve at least a day off.
