England will play Italy in the Euro 2020 final on Sunday, July 11 at the Wembley Stadium.

 

 

England had defeated Denmark 2-1 in the Euro 2020 semi-final some few days ago, while Italy eliminated Spain on penalties.

 

Both teams have faced each other 27 times in the past.

 

England have won 8 matches, while Italy have won 11 matches and the remaining 8 matches ended in a draw.

 

The last time both sides came face-to-face was in a friendly in March 27, 2018.

 

The friendly game ended in a 1-1 draw at Wembley, with Jamie Vardy and Lorenzo Insigne scoring for their respective teams.

 

 

The match kicks off at 8 pm, Nigerian time.

 

The match will be aired on DStv channel 204 and GOtv channel 32.

    The newspaper claim that Gareth Southgate’s side will revert to a back five for tonight’s game with Bukayo Saka missing out.

    According to lineup, right-back Kieran Trippier will come in with Kyle Walker in the left side while Harry Maguire and John Stones making up a back three.

    Captain, Harry Kane will then be joined by Manchester City forward, Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount in attack.

    The Sun’s ‘revealed’ starting line-up: Pickford, Shaw, Maguire, Stones, Walker, Trippier, Rice, Phillips, Sterling, Mount, Kane.
