Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has said he does not care if Cristiano Ronaldo wins the Golden Boot this season, as long as Romelu Lukaku keeps scoring for his team.
Ronaldo’s second debut at Old Trafford ended in scintillating fashion, as he netted a brace in their 4-1 win over Newcastle United.
The two goals are his first in the Premier League after 12 years away.
Lukaku grabbed his own brace later on Saturday, as Chelsea hammered Aston Villa 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian now has three goals this season for the Blues.
When asked after the game who will score more between both forwards, Tuchel simply replied: “I couldn’t care less as long as Romelu scores for us”.
