Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, has provided the latest injury update on strikers, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

Arteta withdrew Aubameyang at the stroke of full-time for Gabriel Martinelli during his side’s Premier League 3-1 win against Aston Villa on Friday night.

Aubameyang had picked up an injury at full-time during Arsenal’s clash with Aston Villa.

His teammate, Lacazette, also limped off during the clash.

Arsenal defeated Arsenal thanks to goals from Thomas Partey, Aubameyang and Emile Smith Rowe.

“No, no he [Aubameyang] was just cramping,” Arteta was quoted by Arsenal’s official website as saying after the game.

He added, “Laca was fatigued. He hasn’t played that many minutes. He worked so hard and at some stage, he just said ‘I’ve had enough’ and he was cramping.”
