Nasser Al-Khelafi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Paris Saint-Germain, has called Kylian Mbappe, 23, the best player in the world.

Despite having Lionel Messi, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, and Neymar Jr. in the PSG dressing room, he said this.

Following Kylian Mbappe’s decision to reject Real Madrid and extend his contract with the Ligue 1 winners, Al-Khelaifi spoke during a press conference on Monday.

“For all our fans in France and around the world, it’s a historic day for PSG,” he remarked.

“The best player in the world has agreed to stay for another three years, and his decision is a significant statement of intent.”

Javier Tebas, President of LaLiga, blasted PSG for spending such a large sum.

Al-Khelaifi commented, “LaLiga isn’t the same as it was three or four years ago.”
