The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as laughable the claims by Babatunde Gbadamosi, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that Saturday’s bye election for Lagos East senatorial district was rigged in favour of Tokunbo Abiru.

Reacting to Gbadamosi’s claim, Seye Oladejo, the APC’s Publicity Secretary said the outcome of the election has put a lie to the fictitious opinion poll by the PDP which predicted victory for Gbadamosi.

According to him, it is not surprised at the PDP candidate’s outburst having lost massively to APC in his ancestral hometown.

While expressing confidence that Abiru will emerge victorious, he said the APC will help in resuscitating Gbadamosi’s political career

He said

“We’re not surprised by Gbadamosi’s reaction to the results of an election that’s yet to be officially declared because he’s so predictable”.

However, we acknowledge feelers from our agents who have reported overwhelming victory for Tokunbo Abiru”.

“We can only emphatize with a serial contestant with a consistent record of monumental failure and rejection at the poll”.

“The results as they trickle in have put a lie to his propaganda and fictitious opinion poll. The electorates in the Lagos East Senatorial have spoken loudly and decisively. The allegation of rigging is especially laughable with his loss in his ancestral home”.

“Hopefully, he can be rehabilitated politically to resuscitate his still-born political misadventure. This has indeed been a BYE-ELECTION for candidate Babatunde olalere Gbadamosi”

  2. The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), has enlisted 12 Nigerian universities as pioneer centres of excellence to spearhead research and development program that would contribute to national growth.

The universities include University of Abuja(UNIABUJA), University of Benin(UNIBEN), University of Ibadan (UI), University of Maiduguri (UNIMAD), Bayero University Kano (BUK), Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Akwa, University of Uyo (UNIUYO), and the Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.

  3. This is non-sensical. You believe in grades, whereas most graduates, who came out with first class & second class upper can’t defend their results, because some of them cut corners.
But,you decided to ignore graduates who did not meet up to the standard grade.
This is really disheartening, because many graduates whom you disregarded as a results of their low grades are the ones striving hard but due to some challenges they encountered at school(e.g financial issues, failure to compromise to some lecturers seduction or tricks of taking advantage of them, health issues, etc) they end up getting low grades.😒😒🥴🥺👆🤙
